In the northern belt of Sundergarh — known as the Hockey Capital of Odisha and India — life still moves close to nature.
Here, many tribal communities have lived for generations in harmony with the forests, fields, rivers, and seasons. Their food comes from agriculture, forest produce, and traditional wisdom passed through time. They believe in something simple and powerful:
What comes from nature, nourishes life.
For these communities, synthetic and overprocessed products have never been the first choice. Purity, freshness, and trust matter more than labels.
That same belief lives at Sameer Oil Mill.
Since 1995, for over 30 years, families from villages across Sundergarh have brought their own harvests of mahua, mustard, sunflower, and other seasonal seeds to our mill.
They arrive in the morning with sacks of seeds and leave in the evening with fresh oil for the year.
The day is never just about oil.
It is about community.
People wait together as the machines run. They talk, laugh, sing, share stories, and sometimes share meals with us. Children play nearby. Elders discuss harvests and weather. It is a tradition of trust that has continued for decades.
When the oil is ready, they carry home something more than a product:
They carry purity from their own harvest.
We have now opened that tradition beyond Sundergarh.
For the first time, Sameer Oil Mill is bringing traditional pressed oil directly to homes through shipping and delivery.
From the tribal belt of Odisha to modern kitchens, we offer:
This is also the oil our own family has used for years. Our parents remain active and healthy in their 60s, continuing the same hardworking lifestyle that built this mill.
We believe good health begins in the kitchen — with what you cook, what you trust, and what you bring home.
Where tradition meets purity.
Where heritage becomes health.
Where nature still leads the way.
From Sundergarh to your doorstep.
